About the Personal Lines Account Executive Role
You are a doer. A multitasking powerhouse who keeps their pipeline fresh. The always-organized, always-efficient link between the client and our Account Management team.
As our Personal Lines Account Executive, you’re smart, humble, and hungry and are not afraid to ask questions. You have sharp instincts, are results-oriented, and have a strong desire to sell. You are meticulous in your day-to-day operations, you likely have at least 5 years of sales experience, and you are driven to be a top sales performer.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop centers of influence (COIs) and networks in the community
- Cross-sell into the existing commercial book
- Respond to quote requests from staff, group members, and all other sources
- Cross-sell and upsell existing clients, seeking to increase book size further
- Solicit additional business from the existing client base, and gain referrals to new prospects
- Round out accounts
- Schedule meetings with qualified prospects
- Present proposals to prospects, negotiate terms and close the sale
- Assist clients and family members with new insurance requirements
- Prepare all necessary new sales paperwork and submit it to AA’s for processing
- Identify potential groups and market to these groups
- Develop marketing plans to gain new clients

- Multilingual – English is required, and knowledge of French would give you a leg up.

- Outgoing – You know almost everyone; even those you don’t know are likely to know you!
- An Excellent Communicator – You ooze confidence, and nothing fazes you.
- Team Player – We’re all about culture, so playing nicely with others is a must.
- It’s not essential, but a university degree is preferred.
- You know when to have fun and when to buckle down.
